Auto (Vanguard Circle): When one of your Units appears in a Rearguard Circle from the Deck, that has the same name as one of your Units in the Vanguard Circle, and this card is in a “Legion”, this Unit gains 3000 Power and 1 Critical during this turn.
Activate (Vanguard Circle): [Counter Blast 1 Card, Choose 1 of your Rearguards, Retire it] look at the top 4 cards of your Deck, search for 1 card with “Liberator” in its card name, Call it to a Rearguard Circle, place the remaining cards on the bottom of your Deck in any order. This ability cannot be used again this turn.

And Now For A Word From The Vanguard R&D Department!!

Today’s cards are from the “Blazing Perdition”, a Gold Paladin Legion clad in bluish flames! This trump card is “Percival” transformed into a dragon! And on top of it all, we’re introducing the Legion Rare versions of them!
"Prominence Core", when a card appears from the Deck that has the same name as a card in your Vanguard Circle while Core is in a Legion, gains power and a critical!
If you do so with his Activate ability, he’ll have a base power of 23,000 and 2 Criticals! He can view the top 4 cards of the Deck, thus easily allowing you to aim for a power up. At the cost of a Draw Trigger Unit, you can use Core’s ability to try and power up every turn.
Since he can be immediately mixed into your “Divine Judgment of the Bluish Flames” Trial Deck, he works as the Liberators’ latest trump card!!
Also he still has “Aglovale” as his Legionmate! The Legion Rare version has a different artwork than the normal Core’s Aglovale partner, so take a look at both versions, and decide if you want to get your hands on it!!
There are a ton of powerful Legion Units included in “Blazing Perdition”, which comes out in less than 2 weeks! Please look forward to it!

News: Blasters Make Comeback in Third Kansai VGCS and FR2014 Kanazawa, Thing Saver-Phantom “Abyss” Hybrid Places First
Over the 21st the third Kansai VGCS concluded with an unorthodox combination of Paladin cards captaining its championship team. Exploiting the rule that any Royal Paladin cardfighter can have up to 10 Shadow Paladin cards in their deck, team captain Chii brought a Thing Saver Dragon deck with Revenger Phantom Blaster “Abyss” as his secondary grade 3 to the tournament. Since this did not occupy Chii’s team’s Shadow Paladin slot, this effectively allowed two separate teammates to take advantage of “Abyss” while still declaring separate clans. With the Royal Paladins’ effective Blaster support still hanging around from BT05: Awakening of Twin Blades, the basic framework of the deck through Blaster-based subclan attackers and Wingal Brave was able to effectively support the fusion. Chii was hardly alone in the venture; Thing Saver-“Abyss” became a polarizing new deck at the tournament, with nine of the nineteen Royal Paladin cardfighters that participated playing similar builds. Others trying the same idea integrated Battle Spirit Revenger MacArt and Dark Bond Trumpeter to some effect, using MacArt to superior call Dark Bond when the vanguard Legions and then using Dark Bond’s counterblast 1 to superior call a Freezing Revenger, setting up the field for a Phantom Blaster “Abyss” play.
[…]
In most previous formats this kind of mixing would be impossible because of the Lord skill, which prevents a unit from attacking if any card on the field does not have its clan, but from Seeker of Hope onwards new cards have foregone Lord from their printings entirely. And because of the special permission given to Royal Paladin cardfighters in team tournaments to use Shadow Paladin cards—originally a rule made for the sake of Majesty Lord Blaster fighters in 2012—unlike the majority of hybrid decks seen in VGCS tournaments, this deckbuild would be completely legal for play in Bushiroad’s official events. So it goes that first place in this year’s Kanazawa regional championship, held over the 17th, is Hayashi Daiki with one of those very same hybrid decks. Go to the heading [FR14KN] below the cut for his decklist.
[…]
The last major developments of these tournaments came from the Kansai VGCS’ championship team Forward Pest (ペスト) playing Star-vader “Ω” Glendios with the new trial deck card Companion Star-vader Photon in the deck. Photon’s skill allows his fighter to lock one of the opponent’s rearguards when called if they already have a locked rearguard, easily shutting down their field and promoting synergy with Glendios’ “Omega Lock” limit break, which prevents the locks from opening for one turn. At times Photon can act like a superior Cold Death Dragon, helping lock the opponent’s entire field so that Glendios will automatically win through its ultimate break at the beginning of its next main phase.
The VGCS model of fan-organized play has begun to gain popularity internationally, with the bi-monthly BeNeLux tournaments serving as their European equivalent, and there are now similar grassroots organizations emerging in the United States like Cosmic Oasis' tournament series and the ongoing King of Cardfight competition in the American midwest.

Star-vader, Imaginary Plane Dragon
"Imagine it. A world where everything is locked."
Grade 3 / Star Gate - Link Joker - Cyber Dragon
Power 11000

Activate (Vanguard Circle): [Legion](20000)[“Ray Gun Star-vader, Osmium”](If your opponent has a Grade 3 or higher Vanguard, once, this Unit can return 4 cards from your Drop Zone to your Deck, search your Deck for the designated card, and Legion with it.)
Activate (Vanguard Circle): [Counter Blast 2 Cards] If this card is in a “Legion”, for each card in your Center Column with “Star-vader” in its card name, you can choose up to 1 of your opponent’s Rearguards, and Lock it. (A Locked Card is turned face-down and cannot do anything. At the end of its owner’s turn, it turns face-up)
Auto (Vanguard Circle): When this Unit attacks a Vanguard, this Unit gains 2000 Power during that battle.

And Now For A Word From The Vanguard R&D Department!!

Today’s card is a super horrifying “Link Joker” Legion from “Blazing Perdition”, which comes out August 8th! While they work well with the on-sale Trial Deck “Will of the Locked Dragon”, they’re units that introduce new tactics to a Star-vader Deck.
Star-vader, Imaginary Plane Dragon’s Legion Skill is a menacing ability that lets you Lock a number of your opponent’s Rearguards equal to the number of “Star-vaders” in your Center Column.
This counts itself, its Legionmate and any Back Row Rearguard, so you can potentially Lock up to 3 Units!! Use it at a critical moment to Lock 2 of your your opponent’s Front Row Rearguards and one of their Back Row Rearguards.
With the abilities “Ray Gun Star-Vader, Osmium” and “Star-vader, Bolt Line”, you can prevent Unlocking! These are cards that appropriate to call “Jokers”, as in the trump of trump cards.
"Link Joker" has restarted its invasion of the planet Cray. They’re even more horrifying and brutal than before, but you’ll have to wait 2 more weeks before getting your hands on the power of Void! Please wait patiently!

See this is actually a really neat look at how history works.

Who writes the history books?

The survivors.

Who survives?

The victors.
